Fees & Referrals
Medicare Referrals
Sessions are 50 - 60 minutes long and charged at $190 (full fee) with an out of pocket cost of $100.50 (Medicare rebate of $89.50). Please note it is a Medicare requirement that you must pay the full fee upfront and then will receive the rebate once your claim is processed.
Medicare rebates are available with a referral from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.
You are able to access 10 rebated sessions per calendar year (1st January to 31st December). You will usually be referred for an initial 6 sessions and then will see your GP or specialist for a review to determine your eligibility for a further 4 sessions that year.
To make a Medicare claim, you must provide your GP referral letter to me either at your first appointment or prior to our first session.
The Medicare claim will be submitted following your appointment, and most people receive the rebate direct to their bank account within 24 hours.
Payment is preferred via direct deposit at the time of your appointment. If any fees remain unpaid, no further appointments can be scheduled.
